Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition Free Download PC Game pre-installed in direct link – Pirated-Games.com -The 3D models have been upgraded to HD, new illustrations have been added, and all kinds of new features are now included. Additionally, the game that formed the bedrock of the story, “RADICAL DREAMERS – Le Trésor Interdit -“, is included in this edition! CHRONO CROSS is an RPG that transcends time and space, unfolding across two interlinked parallel worlds. With over 40 party members to meet, people and dimensions will intertwine in this epic drama about the planet itself.Utilising an innovative turn-based style battle system, CHRONO CROSS is a unique RPG that follows the protagonist “Serge” as he crosses time on his quest to save himself dying in a parallel universe. Those who purchase the game will also receive a CHRONO CROSS wallpaper! I’ve got all the ending and only 3 achievements left. It’s absolutely great game and I love every aspect of this game (Especially the story and the music). The additional QoL is very much appreciated. IT’S A TERRIBLE PORT!!! Low FPS, Low FMV resolution, You have to install some mods to barely enjoy the game perfectly. I wont recommend this game (and any SE remake/port game) until SE fix the same problem that plagues their port game.
“RADICAL DREAMERS – Le Trésor Interdit -” was released in 1996 as a standalone game, and has not been easily accesible for play in recent years. Players can experience the story that went on to become the basis for CHRONO CROSS in an audio novel format. Here, an alternate story of the RADICAL DREAMERS, a group of three thieves – Serge, Kid and Magil – unfolds in a parallel world. *You can switch between the new and old versions of the 3D models and illustrations. *The 3D models, illustrations, font and background filter cannot be toggled separately. They will all be switched together. This is my favorite RPG of all time, and I’m so happy it’s finally been released again in a modern format. I recognize that it’s not what a lot of people wanted. The animations and models haven’t been redone at all, the combat is exactly as it was, and there’s no new content as far as I know. Just a fresh coat of paint and some minor quality of life improvements. However, that’s EXACTLY what I wanted for this release, and personally I’ve been thrilled with it. I recommend it wholeheartedly. The Radical Dreamers text adventure was fantastic as well. I had heard good things about it in the fan community, but I never knew too many details about it. I got so absorbed in exploring it that for a while I forgot to even check out the main game!
I don’t think my review will add more to what’s already been said. I love this game – I grew up with it on PS1. I was thrilled when I found a PS1 copy to run on my PS2, and geeked hard when the remaster was announced. The new mode is… rough and clunky. Lots of dropped images (Serge’s head was floating at one point) and clunky gameplay. The backgrounds are super blurry, and I don’t think the character models look that improved. I had a much better time when I switched to Classic mode – the characters look more polygon-y, but the game looks nicer than the blended backgrounds. I’m bummed that Square was super lazy about this remaster… it’s definitely not worth the $20 price. They did not bother to improve the cutscenes (they are still blurry lol). I’m annoyed that all the 9/10 and 10/10 reviews seem to be from the game’s original launch. I don’t hate it and I don’t totally regret buying it. I want to give it 4-5/10, because the game itself is still wonderful. I’m mostly disappointed. I’m putting a “no” recommendation because I don’t think lazy remasters should be rewarded. I’d find the quality unacceptable if it weren’t a game I already loved. I will still likely dump a bunch of hours into it because I like streaming with my friends.
