It almost feels like a tech demo… or maybe like devs have glued whatever they could come to think of. I was eager to play Superliminal. Based on how the game was marketed and also the reviews, I was expecting a first-person logical puzzle game with an innovative main mechanic. Everything seemed to be in order to give me an experience like (or at least close to) what Portal gave me a long time ago. But damn, I was so wrong! Actually I’m so disappointed… At the beginning, developers introduce that cool mechanic which revolves around perspective (the one that you’ve certainly seen in the game’s trailers) and everything seem to be on the track. But after 20-30 minutes, devs completely forget about the potential of the said mechanic and jump to another one without fully exploring the limits of previous one.
